ABOVE: This double-trailer semi belonging to FedEx lies on its side early this morning where it had been since Thursday evening around 8 p.m. According to the National Weather Service out of Dodge City, gusts were recorded at 53 mph at 8: 15 p.m. Thursday in the area. The truck was eastbound at Mile Post 16 near the Arkalon Park turnoff on U.S. Highway 54 when heavy rain and winds made the driver lose control and the truck flipped over on its right side, according to Seward County Undersheriff Gene Austin. “There were no injuries reported,” Austin said.
